BR Class 3 2-6-2T 82031 awaits scrapping at Cashmores Scrapyard, Newport, South Wales on 13th July 1968. Built at Swindon Works in 1954, it spent its early life at Western Region Depots such as Laira, Newton Abbott, Shrewsbury and Wrexham. The loco was withdrawn from Patricroft MPD (9H) in April 1965.
