On the 21st September 2014, after undergoing repairs, LNER K4 Class Mogul No. 61994'The Great Marquess' makes a test run at the rear of the BKR 15:35 service from Bo'ness to Manuel which is headed by LNER D49 Class No. 62712 'Morayshire' instead of the advertised diesel.
The 'Marquess' failed at Bo'ness yard on the morning of the 20th September and was unable to continue the 'West Highlander' railtour duties.
