D1015 'Western Champion' heads a rake of empty stock as it forms the 11:20 Acton Lane Reception Sidings to Crewe Carriage Sidings along the West Coast Main Line at Lichfield on 5th September 2014. The stock was scheduled to be used on a GBRF-sponsored staff special from Chester to the West Somerset Railway on 6th September.
