Testing of the Class 67 and DVT combination continues in the Midlands. On the 14th August 2014 Class 67 No. 67003, in Arriva Trains Wales blue livery, was located between Network Rail DVTs No. 82129 and No. 82145 and worked the 09:55 Derby RTC to Stafford followed immediately by the 12:34 Stafford to Northampton runs. Finally the test concluded by the 14:20 Northampton to Derby RTC reversing at Crewe run, seen here passing Willington, at high speed.
