A Members' Day was held on 19th July 2014 at the Llangollen Railway to see the progress that has been made on the British Legion endorsed new-build 'Patriot' 4-6-0 No. 45551 'The Unknown Warrior' and the result can be seen here with the smokebox and cab sitting proudly on top of the frames. In front of the engine can be seen the two outside cylinders ready for machining and ultimately fitting.
