English Electric Class 37 No.37408 pauses at Bangor while working the 10.15hrs Birmingham New St. to Holyhead service on 19th May 1995. New to Cardiff Canton (86A) as D6989 and renumbered under TOPS to 37289 in January 1973 and then again renumbered to 37408 in 1985. The locomotive was withdrawn in August 2005 and scrapped at EMR, Kingsbury in January 2008.
