This view of Class 08 No. 08834 at Ripple Lane Depot open day on Saturday 17th October 1987, shows the loco in its new Distribution sector livery with 2 Stratford Depot logo plaques, the lower one showing the cockney sparrow in flight was later banned from use by Depot management preferring a plaque similar to the one depicting the sparrow in a standing position.
