Midland Compound No.1000 with Support Coach pass the site of Skipton North Junction heading from the NRM York to Hellifield, where it piloted LMS Jubilee No. 5690 Leander on the northbound Cumbrian Mountain Pullman to Carlisle. There is no indication at this stage of the blizzard conditions experienced on this trip over the S&C.On the right of the picture the former bulidings which were Skipton Shed(20F) still exist now in commercial use.
