West Coast Railways Class 57/3 No. 57316 is at the leading end of the 05:47 Swindon to Newcastle "Beamish and Durham Statesman" special train as it departs from a scheduled pick-up at Burton-on-Trent on Saturday 7th June 2014. At the rear of the twelve coach train is classmate No. 57313 with both of the Class 57/3s still retaining the blue livery of their former operator, Arriva Trains Wales.
