A RhB St Moritz to Tirano train pauses at Poschiavo to detach ABe4/4 No. 45 from the front of the train on 28th February 1987. Some idea of the ruling 1 in 14 gradient which northbound trains have to surmount to the summit beyond Alp Grum at 7500ft can be seen to the rear of the train.
