DBSO No. 9702 leads the 07:53 Derby RTC to Derby RTC test train, comprising of NR research vehicles No. 62287 and No. 6262, with Network Rail Class 31/4 No. 31465 propelling the train, passes through Burton-on-Trent on Tuesday 20th May 2014. This working had covered the Burton to Leicester freight line in both directions and would later make a trip over the North Staffs route to Stoke-on-Trent before returning to the RTC.
