A stiff walk to the summit of Snowdon brings rewards for the photographer though today most trains will not be steam operated. An up train is hard at work shortly after leaving the final passing loop at Clogwyn, which can be seen behind the column of smoke, whilst a down train is on the extreme right of the picture on an unrecorded date in 1982.
