Class 43 No. 43009 leads the late running (-45mins) 12:50 Newcastle - Plymouth into Chesterfield on 27th April 1986 with 43129 on the rear. The power car was released from Crewe Works on 2nd April 1976 and put into service on 4th October 1976.
