Network Rail DVT No. 9701 forms the northern end of a Test Train on 31st March 2014. It is powered by Class 37 No. 97304 at the southern end and is stabled in Peterborough station Up Siding.
Its next duty takes it to Sleaford via Grantham, to Nottingham and Lincoln via Newark Castle before returning to Derby RTC again via Newark Castle and Nottingham.
