Class 31/4 No. 31459 at Doncaster with 1E42 11:45 Liverpool - Cleethorpes on 2nd October 1986. New to stock as D5684 at 41A Sheffield Darnall on 26th January 1961 and under TOPS became 31256 in February 1974 before conversion to 31/4 on 14th December 1974. Still in service and operated by Railway Vehicle Engineering and on the Dartmoor Railway.
