During the 1985 'GWR150 Celebrations' the most extraordinary event was the running of a train of preserved freight wagons from the SVR on the Main Line. GWR Churchward Class 2800 No. 2857 from the SVR exists from Hillfield Tunnel at Newport on the train which ran from Newport Alexandra Dock Junction to Kidderminster SVR on 10th September 1985
