Class 55 No.D9000 Royal Scots Grey at Ipswich with the 14:30 Liverpool Street - Norwich on 23rd January 1999. The Deltic also worked the 11:05 Norwich to London.The Deltic was built at the Vulcan Foundry and new as D9000 on 28th February 1961 to Doncaster Works and was withdrawn on 2nd January 1982.Sold to the D9000 Group on 7th September 1983 for preservation and is currently based on the East Lancs Railway.
