Disagreement between bogies on Class 31 engine No. 31299 at Haltwhistle Station on 7th July 1983. The front set has taken the line to the station while the rear set has decided to use the turnout leading into the yard. Inevitably, there was disruption on the route between Carlisle and Newcastle for much of the rest of the day.
