The participants on The Cumbrian Ranger 1Z44 6.33 Tyseley-Carlisle were in for a disappointment because LNER Class A4 No. 4464 Bittern was not permitted to work the train north of Carnforth via Shap due to gauging difficulties at Carlisle. The loco and support coach back down from Crewe Heritage Centre to attach to the train for the Crewe-Carnforth leg on 15th March 2014
