Class 47/4 No. 47813 John Peel passes Ipswich on 13th September 2008, with a Norwich Crown Point - Wolverton movement conveying Mk3A Buffet No. 10229. New to 82A Bristol Bath Road shed as No. D1720 on 6th March 1964, it became No. 47129 under the TOPS renumbering on 6th February 1974. Converted to 47/4, it was renumbered to No. 47658 on 30th October 1986 before being fitted with long-range fuel tanks and outshopped as No. 47813 on 23rd July 1989. After withdrawal, it was sold to Cotswold Rail in June 2004 and is now owned by DRS.
