The Giants of Steam Gala took place at Barrow Hill on the weekend of 8th/9th February 2014, and gave enthusiasts the only opportunity to see the two visiting Class A4 Pacifics Nos. 60008 "Dwight D Eisenhower" and 4489 "Dominion of Canada in a genuine working engine shed environment. Here, they are pictured on 9th February with Class A2 No. 60532 Blue Peter and A4 No. 4464 "Bittern".
