Class 31/1 No. 31118 stands at Shirebrook on 26th November 1983. As No. D5536 it was delivered new to 30A Stratford on 18th June 1959 and had a working life of almost 30 years, being withdrawn on 20th February 1989. The locomotive was cut up at M.C. Metals Processing, Springburn Works, Glasgow on 16th January 1990.
