Class 50 No. 50007 Sir Edward Elgar at Swanwick MRC on 27th July 1999, with Class 44 No. 44004 Great Gable and Class 20 No. D8001. No. 50007 started life as No. D407 on 12th March 1968 and was originally named Hercules. Withdrawn on 31st March 1994 and sold to the Class 40 Appeal for preservation.
