Direct Rail Services have now taken over operation of the Mountsorrel Sidings to Crewe Basford Hall aggregates working. Running just over 90 minutes behind schedule, the first working operated by DRS is seen passing Branston, south of Burton-on-Trent on Monday 3rd February 2014 with Class 57/0s No. 57009 and No. 57002 heading a well-loaded 6U77, 1342 Mountsorrel Sidings to Crewe Basford Hall.
