Due to flooding in the Oxford area Cross Country services to and from the North East to the South Coast were suspended for several days. This photograph highlighted by the low afternoon sun depicts Class 220 Voyager No. 220024 passing through Burton-on-Trent on Thursday 9th January 2014 with 1V89, 12:35 Newcastle to Reading service, which on this day operated as far as Birmingham New Street.
