Class 58 No. 58038 stabled in the Barrow Hill roundhouse on Sunday 5th June 1988. New in March 1986 from Doncaster Works, it was just over two years old at this time. Exported to France for construction duties, as December 2013, No. 58038 is based at Alizay, France.
