At Chalons Way, Ilkeston the Stanton Ironworks, formerly Stanton & Staveley is remembered by a recently restored 12 ton mineral wagon positioned on the roundabout. Another example of this 1931 wagon is held at the NRM collection at York. Stanton & Staveley were the areas largest employer in their heyday with 7,000 workers. The roundabout is known locally as the wagon roundabout.
