Stabled for the weekend on Eastfield Depot is Class 06 No. 06003. New as D2420 she was eventually withdrawn from Dundee Depot in February 1981. A transfer to Departmental use followed at Reading Signal Depot as 97804 before being bought for preservation. Currently residing at Peak Rail, Derbyshire it is sometimes possible to enjoy brake van rides behind 06003.
