Ex-LNER 4464 'Bittern' stands at Newcastle on 5th December 2013 after arrival from York with the Tyne-Tees Streak. The trip had been at 50mph throughout because of the atrocious weather. A 90 mph trip had been planned and this was achieved on the return journey in the dark later in the day. On the left, East Coast's Class 90 No. 91114 prepares to travel south.
