Class 81 No. 81008 enters Crewe from the south on 8th August 1985. The AL1 was new as No. E3010 on 22nd October 1960 and based at 8H Allerton after being built at BRCW, Smethwick, Birmingham. She was withdrawn on 30th March 1988 and cut up at Coopers Metals, Attercliffe, Sheffield on 28th November 1991.
