Class 31/4 No. 31447 arrives at Peterborough on 9th March 1987 with a Birmingham New Street - Norwich train. New as No. D5828 at 41A Sheffield Darnall on 28th December 1961, it became No. 31295 under TOPS in December 1973, before convertion to 31/4 on 30th July 1984. The locomotive was renumbered again to No. 31547 on 3rd May 1990 and finally withdrawn 7th September 1998. Sold to T.J.Thompson, Stockton in January 2000 it was scrapped there in late 2002.
