On the 21st August 2013, Freightliner Class 66/6 No. 66613 crosses Stockport viaduct leading with a convoy of 3 other locos and empty wagons. Alongside Arriva Trains Wales Class 175 No. 175004 approaches the station with a Manchester Piccadilly to Carmarthen service.
