Freightliners unique Class 86/5 No. 86501 hauls the 14:03 Ditton to Felixstowe intermodal working through Rugeley Trent Valley on 25th October 2013, unusually on the fast up line. No. 86608 was regeared in 2000 and renumbered No. 86501 for single-handed freight working. As No. 86501 is still working successfully in 2013 it is surprising that no other Class 86 locomotives were similarly treated.
