A busy scene at Swithland Sidings on 5th October 2013 during the GCR Autumn Gala sees Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No. 48624 passing through on the Up main with a service for Leicester North with the RVP's Observation Car No. E1719E at the rear. In the Up loop to the left is BR Caprotti Standard 5 4-6-0 No. 73129 taking on water before hauling the TPO stock back to Loughborough and on the right 'Jinty' 3F 0-6-0T waits for permission to exit the down loop with a mineral wagon working.
