Direct Rail Services Class 47/4 No. 47828 is pictured powering train 5Z42, 14:24 Derby to Crewe CS empty coaching stock along the North Staffs route near Willington, Derbyshire on Sunday 22nd September 2013. The train, comprises of eleven umber and cream-liveried Northern Belle carriages returning to their home base with Class 47/4 No. 47501 â??The Craftsmanâ?? trailing at the rear, had worked a Northern Belle excursion from Derby to Bath Spa on the previous day. In the background, five redundant cooling towers of the former Willington Power Station that ceased generating in 1999, are clearly visible.
