On 13th September 2013 the annual Compo Club photocharter at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway featured the two ex-LNWR locomotives visiting the line for its 30th Anniversary Gala. Here, LNWR-liveried 'Coal Tank' 0-6-2T No. 1054 and BR-liveried 'Super D' 0-8-0 No. 49395 are standing in the platform at Furnace Sidings station after recreating the final train on the Heads of the Valleys route for the participating photographers.
