GB Railfreight have now taken over operation of the regular 6K50, 15:13 Toton North Yard to Crewe Basford Hall engineering train from DB Schenker. Here, the train, comprising of 20 Network Rail autoballast wagons, is pictured passing through Wetmore, Burton-on-Trent on Tuesday 27th August 2013 headed by GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66731 'Interhub GB'. The overbridge in the distance is scheduled for demolition next month as part of the route upgrade that will allow the use of larger-size containers on intermodal traffic.
