After being out of traffic for 3 years and maintenance completed at Tyseley and Old Oak Common, Western No. D1015 Western Champion passes Barrow-on-Trent (on the normally freight only Castle Donington branch line) on the evening of 22nd August 2013 with the 19:10 Leicester to Tyseley Fishnchips main line trial charter, with Tyseleys Class 47 No. 47773 included as a safeguard. The setting sun reflects on the two locomotives changing their maroon and green liveries into an orange glow.
