Class 27 No. 27040 arrives at Edinburgh Waverley with the 14:28 from Dundee 24th October 1984. New as D5402 on the 14th July 1962, it was withdrawn on 27th January 1986, and cutting up took place at Saturday Thornton Jct by staff from Vic Berry of Leicester by 11th April 1987.
