Network Rail's Class 31 No. 31285, fitted with high intensity lights for infrastructure inspection, propels three Network Rail Coaches plus DBSO No. 9701 through Catholme on 29th July 2013, on 3Q55 Derby RTC to Didcot test train. The unusual Network Rail coach No. 977986 next to the locomotive is lacking windows as it was converted from exhibition coach No. 99664. The other NR coaches were No. 977985 (structure gauging) and No. 62384.
