BRCW built Class 33/0 No. 33046 was photographed on the trailer of a Reid Freight Services transporter as it is travelled westward along the A50 dual carriageway near Etwall, Derbyshire on Tuesday 2nd July 2013 while in transit from Nemesis Rail, Burton-on-Trent to the preserved East Lancashire Railway at Bury. It is understood the 52-year-old Type 3 will be stripped of usable components for use on the ELRs Class 33s before being eventually scrapped.
