On Saturday 5th May 2009 'The Cumbrian Coast Express' originating from Birmingham New Street hauled by Electric to Carnforth where LMS Class 6P 4-6-0 No. 5690 'Leander' took over. Here seen arriving at Ravenglass supporting 'The Furness Flyer' headboard. Passengers disembarked at Ravenglass to travel on the wonderful miniature Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. Later in the day the passengers returned and then 'Leander' proceeded to return back to Carnforth.
