BR Class 27 No. D5401 is seen on the approach to Rothley Station during the GCR 1940's Weekend on 9th June 2013 with 'The Elizabethan' Sunday Luncheon service. The engine was built by the Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company in 1962 and first ran on the GCR in 1994.
