On Friday 7th June 2013, Network Rails Measurement train Class 43, Nos 43062 and 43013 speeds past Willington at 1340hrs on its journey from Old Oak Common HSTD to Derby RTC.Since leaving Old Oak at 0555hrs the train has travelled via Paddington, Slough, Maidenhead, Reading, Didcot, Bristol Parkway, Newport, Cardiff Swansea, Cardiff Bristol Parkway, Gloucester and Burton on Trent.
