Freightliner Class 70 No. 70018 pilots Class 66/6 No. 66615 with a re-scheduled 6Z77, 1505 Mountsorrel Sidings to Crewe Basford Hall Sidings, which comprised of five Network Rail auto-ballaster wagons and the remainder of the train made up of open box-type wagons loaded with aggregates from the Leicestershire quarry, is pictured as the train headed towards Clay Mills Junction, Burton-on-Trent on Wednesday 2 2nd May 2013. Locomotive No. 70018 had been released the previous day from Brush Works at Loughborough where it had been undergoing repair following extensive fire damage sustained last year. It is understood the Class 66 May have been provided as insurance should any problem have developed during the Class 70s first day back in active service since re-entering traffic.
