Looking somewhat out of place amongst all the OLE and trackside paraphernalia, LMS Jubilee Class 4-6-0 No. 45699 'Galatea' eases towards the Bridge Road level crossing at Ely, working the 5Z45 09:50 Carnforth Steamtown to King's Lynn T.C. ECS on 18th May 2013. About to undertake a substantial railtour of East Anglia, which will be its first mainline passenger working in almost 50 years, can only be testimony to the skill and enthusiasm of those who enabled it to be in a position do so.
