Following Allerton Depot falling into disuse by EWS, Northern Rail have now resurrected the site as a Maintenance Depot, and employ a Windoff Tug to move stock around the site which is situated adjacent to Liverpool South Parkway Station. The said tug manoeuvres a Class 156 into the Maintenance Shed on 14th May 2013.
