Shortly after sunset at 21:35 a Freightliner Class 66/5 does battle with the grade on a fully loaded unidentified coal train no doubt destined to satisfy the insatiable appetite of one of the Aire Valley Power Stations as it pounds through Kirkby Stephen on 7th May 2013. To think that all this was earmarked for closure by BR and now carries tens of thousands of tonnes of coal every day!
