First time visitor to GCR is this Bagnall designed low four-wheel saddle tank railway steam locomotive. Works No. 3058 'Alfred', built in 1953 and designed to cope with extremely tight curves and a very low bridge under the Cornish Mail Line, leaves an impression on the visitors and staff of Loughborough Loco yard at the start of the last day of the GCR Swithland Steam Gala, on 28th April 2013.
