EWS Class 66 No. 66207 at Skipton North Junction having arrived with empty hoppers from Hull Dairycoates prepares to depart to Swinden Quarry on the truncated ex Grassington Branch on 5th June 2008. The area behind the train was formerly Skipton Down Sidings and had a permanent shunting loco there in steam days. At the north end Skipton Loco Shed had an allocation of almost 40 locos. The loco shed still exists in commercial use.
